Bowen Landscape Management is committed to achieving and maintaining the
highest standards of health, safety and welfare in all forestry,
agricultural, landscaping and groundworks operations.
1. Our Commitment
We are committed to protecting employees, subcontractors, clients,
members of the public and the environment from harm arising from
our operations.
We aim to ensure all activities are carried out safely, responsibly
and in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
2. Compliance
Bowen Landscape Management works in accordance with applicable UK
legislation including:
- Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
- Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER)
- Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER)
- Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM)
3. Risk Assessments & Method Statements
Site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are prepared
and reviewed before work commences to identify hazards and establish
appropriate control measures.
4. Training & Competence
We ensure employees and subcontractors are appropriately trained,
competent and qualified for the tasks they undertake.
5. PPE Requirements
Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and must
be worn in accordance with task-specific requirements.
6. Environmental Protection
We are committed to minimising environmental impact through responsible
land management, pollution prevention and sustainable working methods.
7. Incident Reporting
All incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions must be reported,
investigated and reviewed to improve safety performance.
8. Continuous Improvement
Bowen Landscape Management regularly reviews health and safety procedures
to ensure continuous improvement and legal compliance.
